Meet a 7th – 12th Guys Fuel Group Leader, Shaun Bardell

Currently playing on my iPod is… Nothing, I don’t own an IPOD because I’m old skool. However I like a variety of music from rap to folk to oldies or country. I enjoy Bob Dylan, the Christian rap group Cross Movement, Third Day, Tim McGraw, and Eddie From Ohio (folk) if that gives you an idea how strange my music tastes are.

Name one thing you miss about being a kid. I miss that I didn’t have to work and that someone else was always there to feed me…ok what I really miss is being able to play all of the time. My friends and I would explore the woods, have forts, and build tree-houses.  We would also play pickup baseball or football games at an old field near my house. Growing up in MD near the water we would take boats out into the river and go fishing and crabbing and find islands….so yeah, playing/exploring with friends.

My five dream Jeopardy categories are…Nerdy Math Problems, Sword (rearranged words), United States Cities, Characters in the Bible and Words that rhyme with AMBURGER

What do you think is the greatest invention from your lifetime so far and why? The greatest invention of my lifetime is clearly the Nintendo Game System….why? Contra, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, Mario Brothers 1 2 and 3….that ought to be enough of a reason right there.

If you could be a cereal box cartoon character for just 24 hours, which would you be and why? No Doubt I would be Mario from the Nintendo Cereal that was out when I was 8 or nine years old. Reasons: green tunnels, the fireball flower, and of course the opportunity to save the princess. (In case anyone has missed it I am a Nintendo nerd)

What is your favorite weird food combination? Hotdogs with Peanut Butter and Mustard. Originally I had to eat this on a lost bet…but then I really liked it.

What is a fashion trend that you used to wear back in the day that you would now be embarrassed to wear? I wore plaid pants in high school...they were cool then…but they looked ridiculous.

If you had a theme song that was played every time you walked in a room, what song would it be? Lean On Me

What two words do you always seem to spell incorrectly? semmester and knowlege
